James Gunn, the director of Guardians of the Galaxy and a producer on Avengers: Infinity War, has been fired from Marvel Studios for old tweets that resurfaced. Gunn’s reaction to his firing is hilarious, as he drags Peacemaker’s Twitter account.
James Gunn is a director, writer, and producer. He is known for his work on the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Suicide Squad was released in August, and it won’t be the last time DC and James Gunn collaborate. The filmmaker is also behind the forthcoming Peacemaker series, which will see John Cena reprise his role as the eponymous character. The post-credit sequence from Suicide Squad indicated that the new program would be a sequel to the film rather than a prequel, and Gunn has been teasing the show on social media. Peacemaker’s official Twitter account shared some amusing pictures this week, which Gunn dragged in the nicest manner possible.
@DCpeacemaker tweeted, “as if you needed more reason to show why I’m the greatest DC hero #DCFanDome.” “The third reason isn’t because you’re a talented graphic designer,” Gunn said. Check out the following amusing posts:

In addition to Cena, Peacemaker stars Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt and Steve Agee as John Economos from The Suicide Squad, as well as franchise newcomers Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Robert Patrick as Auggie Smith, Chris Conrad as Vigilante, Christopher Heyerdahl as Captain Locke, Chukwudi Iwuji as Clemson Murn, Lochlyn Munro as Larry Fitzgibbon Gunn revealed what fans might anticipate from the tale recently.
“You discover where Peacemaker comes from via the narrative,” Gunn said of Peacemaker’s position in the DCEU chronology. “In [The Suicide Squad], there’s a scene when Bloodsport is talking about his father and what he was like, and you cut to a view of Peacemaker, who nods. That is the beginning of the Peacemaker series.”
