Far Cry 6 is about to release and it looks like Ubisoft might finally be putting the power in player’s hands. The game will feature a “Gunpowder & Steel” upgrade system which allows players to customize their weapons, while also giving them access to different powers like summoning animals or flying into rage mode that lets you shoot fireballs and bombs from your fingertips. This sounds amazing but there are some issues with this new system- not only do upgrades cost precious ingots of gunpowder, but these powers seem unsatisfying when they can suddenly change how powerful an enemy becomes after just one loadout slotting.

Far Cry 6 is a shooter game that released on March 27, 2019. In order to get the best weapons in Far Cry 6, players must upgrade their weapons with Gunpowder & Supremo-Bond.

Crafting modifications is more essential than it has ever been in the Far Cry franchise. You’ll need a truck full of supremo-bond and a lot of gunpowder to improve your armament at the workshop, whether it’s ordinary firearms, Resolver weapons, or Supremos. You can’t simply use any old materials to make new modifications.

You’ll need to dig through the spoils of Yara, explore FND and Libertad caches, track down supply drops, and complete interceptions and other side missions to discover what you’re looking for. Supremo-bond and gunpowder are essential for facing off against Anton Castillo’s troops, and they can be found nearly everywhere on the Far Cry 6 battlefield.

In Far Cry 6, where can you get gunpowder and supremo-bond?

While both supremo bonds and gunpowder are essential, their applications are very different. Your Supremo backpacks, which vary from an artillery launcher to a healing gadget, are Supremo-bonded. This substance does not enable you to make backpacks (you’ll need Depleted Uranium for that), but it does allow you to improve your ability to make it more powerful.

Gunpowder, on the other hand, is much less specific. Any improvement across all weapons requires gunpowder. This involves adding a sniper scope to your sights and modifying your RPG.

Complete all of the story missions.

Completing narrative missions is the first thing you should accomplish. A lot of them will offer you gunpowder, and some of them will even give you supremo-bond to get you started on improvements. To view the prizes for each task, go to your diary and highlight it.

These also aid in the expansion of the map and the creation of new quick travel destinations, making the next, most lucrative way simpler.

Find FND and Libertad caches.

You’ll want to spend some time exploring for additional crafting materials as you finish narrative objectives. At FND Checkpoints, Military Targets, and Anti-Aircraft Sites, look for gunpowder and supremo bonds. You may typically find at least one FND chest in each of these places. The chest may contain a unique piece of equipment, or it may hold the upgrade materials you need. While forming connections in this manner is uncommon, it is possible.

FND containers may be found almost wherever a military presence exists. At checkpoints and military targets, however, some are hidden behind closed doors. To get inside the room they’re in, you’ll need a keycard. Keycards are typically discovered in adjacent buildings or on the corpse of the area’s most senior officer (who is designated by a yellow marker).

Keep a look out for blue and white Libertad caches hidden discreetly along guerrilla routes as well.

Recon Points may be used to intercept supply drops.

Seeking out Recon Points is a smart option if you’re short on time or want to level up your character before going on with the narrative. Interacting with Recon Points, which are indicated on the map as red diamonds with white radios, will have you chasing down supply deliveries before Castillo’s troops sweep them up.

You’ll be challenged with reaching the supply drop before the timer runs out if you activate the radio gadget. Large green boxes with beige straps releasing yellow smoke are what you’ll be searching for.

There will be a few guards to kill when you arrive at a supply drop. Approach the supply drop and collect it once you’ve dispatched the troops. You’ll get experience points, supremo-bond, and gunpowder as a result of this.

You can find supply drops at any time while exploring Yara; you don’t have to visit a Recon Point to get them. So keep an eye out.

Information brief marked by black diamond with white exclamation point.

Liberating sections of Yara and exploring it is one of the greatest methods to mark cache, checkpoint, recon, and other key places on your map. Informants will appear when you liberate new areas, providing you with information and revealing them on your map.

Those on the Libertad side will offer you information for free, whereas FND informants would charge you pesos. Further investigation will reveal papers that serve the same function.

All of them are indicated with black diamonds in the center and white exclamation marks. They appear on your HUD and minimap, so keep a look out for them.

Guides that are similar:

You’ll be upgrading your firearms, Resolver weapons, and Supremos in no time now that you know where to get gunpowder and supremo-bond. Simply look for FND caches, supply drops, and informants. More Far Cry 6 hints may be found here.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get gunpowder in Far Cry 6?

A: To get gunpowder, you need a burning barrel and some turpentine. You then take the turpentine from an old paint can to certain parts of the torch so it burns cleanly. Then tap your flint on your steel hammer until sparks fly out onto the cold steel before striking light to this steel with the lit rag soaked in oil or alcohol.

How do I get materials in Far Cry 6?

A: You can get materials by killing animals or crafting. Youll need the right weapons to kill some of the tougher ones such as bears and moose. Also, you can find them in chests around your map.

How do you steal supply drops in Far Cry 6?

A: In Far Cry 6, it is possible to steal a supply drop from someone who has already opened or captured one. You can either do this by going up behind the person and pressing triangle on their back, stealing their loot before they have time to react. Alternatively, you could sneak into the base of your enemies as a stealth takedowns character and rob them once they open up an item box.
