There are plenty of tools that bring multiple AI models together. Is Lorka just the latest in a long line of these tools? Or does it actually evolve upon them and address the usual criticisms?
To be upfront, I was REALLY impressed by how Lorka sidestepped many of the problems I had with similar tools. Let’s see what that looks like in practice.
Common Multi-AI Problems
Lorka AI is a tool built to make switching between over a dozen AI models easy. That’s not even getting into the extra features (we’ll talk about those shortly). It’s not the first multi-AI service I’ve tried, and as soon as I started using it, I was on the lookout for the usual red flags.
Other AI aggregators:
- Only act as a frontend for your own AI subscriptions
- Have limited model options; many don’t even have Grok
- Don’t have any purpose-built tools to fit various tasks
- Have cluttered interfaces that overwhelm their users
- May still require you to “remind” the AI of important info
I didn’t have any of these problems with Lorka. They had plenty of models in different versions – including Claude, DeepSeek, Qwen, Minimax, Kimi, and more. Switching models was quick and responsive, and it clearly remembered the conversation while changing its approach.
Premium Models, Budget Pricing
As I said, a major multi-AI issue is that some tools serve only as GUIs for existing subscriptions. That means you still have to pay for the individual models.
Lorka cuts all of that out. The site proudly proclaims that it’s only $19.99 a month, and that even just seven of its AIs combined could set you back over $140.
If you’re serious about using AI in your workflows, you probably know you’ll need more than one to get the best results. Virtually all of the individual models in Lorka cost about $20 on their own, so you’re definitely saving money.
Plus, many of its tools were clearly built for students, first-time entrepreneurs, and others who’ll appreciate a good deal. So many premium models for $19.99 is just too good to pass up. To be blunt, it puts other services to shame.
Lorka’s Extra Tools
Just connecting all those premium models without a massive cost is already enough to secure a recommendation from me. But Lorka also comes with plenty of extra features. Many of them are designed for specific tasks, going beyond the usual back-and-forth of most models.
Here are just some of Lorka’s add-ons:
- Translate, which works with over 100 languages
- Summarize Text, which can process massive documents
- Learn, which can tutor you on virtually any topic
- Code Assistant, which offers 12 languages
- AI Detector, which can spot AI-generated text
- AI Humanizer, which rewrites text to sound more natural
- Chat with PDF, which lets you directly engage with documents
- Image Generation, with upscaling and style changes
- Web Search, in fast and research modes
Admittedly, we can’t really call other platforms flawed for not having these bespoke tools. But it’ll be hard to use any service that doesn’t come with dedicated task-specific features after Lorka. If I need to quiz myself on complex STEM topics, for example, Lorka will be my top pick.
Lorka’s Simplified UX
Too many AI aggregators have a cluttered interface. Poe, for example, fills the screen with every bot; this, along with a sidebar, limits how much of a conversation actually shows at once.
Lorka, meanwhile, is much simpler. From the moment it first loaded, I knew exactly what to do. I also wasn’t overloaded with information. Using Lorka was as simple as clicking on which model to use and typing my query.
Plus, there’s a single response panel per conversation – meaning it stays as one interface when you switch models. All that really changes is the “style” of response, keeping everything cleaner.
My one nitpick here is the scrolling banner below the chat, which seems built for quick access to Lorka’s features without having to click “Tools”. However, it’s easy to miss the one you need and end up waiting a few seconds.
Lorka’s Main Attraction: No Workflow Friction
As you can imagine, a simple UX and UI, plus a bunch of dedicated tools for different tasks, can (and does) massively reduce friction. Switching between models takes less than a second; plus, instant access to the premium models means you don’t have to wait for your tokens to refresh.
Most other multi-AI systems don’t work anywhere near as fluidly as Lorka. And whatever you’re using AI for, speed is probably key. If you’re taken out of your flow by an unintuitive interface or a lack of basic tools, it could have a serious knock-on effect for your whole day.
I tested Lorka for various tasks, including:
- Building a detailed restaurant marketing strategy that accounted for competitor gaps
- Condensing PDFs on swarm robotics into clearer (and well-summarized) insights
- Uploading SEO metrics and transforming them into detailed, annotated reports
- Programming a basic 2D video game in JavaScript, then rewriting it in C# and Python
It held up well on every single one, with no lag and nothing else that slowed me down.
My Verdict: Lorka AI Stands Above the Competition
Many multi-AI models are impressive but still have a fair few caveats that are just impossible to avoid. Lorka doesn’t have that. Instead, it fixes basically all of the issues I usually have with a lot of these tools – I can’t recommend it enough.
